Jack Ingles passed away in the Clayton County Home at Elkader, Dec. 16, 1943. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs Sam Ingles and was born March 26, 1873. When a young man, he had the misfortune to lose an arm when a tree fell on him while at work in the woods. For many years he made his home with relatives, but a few years ago, he became so feeble that he went to the County Home to stay. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Ella Bolsinger of Turkey River and Mrs. Frank Brown of Delhi, one brother, George Ingles of Lansing.
Funeral services were held at Guttenburg Saturday afternoon. Rev. Floyde R. Maynard, pastor of First Methodist church of Colesburg conducted the burial service at the grave side in the Bolsinger cemetery northeast of here.
