Glen H. Philebaum, 63, 2406 E. 16th St., retired Warner Gear employee, died Friday morning at Blackford County Hospital, Hartford City, following an illness of two years.


Mr. Philebaum served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European theater of operations. Following the war he was employed at Warner Gear until his retirement in 1966.


He attended Industry United Methodist Church and was a member of UAW Local 287.


Surviving are his wife, Lunah; two sons, Harold Philebaum, Albany, and David Philebaum, RR 1, Albany; a daughter, Mrs. Doris McKillip, Gaston; a stepson, Ivan E. Calicoat, Toledo, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Florence Lake, Hartford City; a stepbrother, Gettys McCammon, Montpelier; and nine grandchildren.


Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Meeks Mortuary. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday and prior to services Monday.
