Anna Mae (Harris) Philebaum was born March 21, 1888 in Jackson Township, Blackford Co., IN. She was the first of six children born to George and Emma (Glover) Harris and grew up in and around Dunkirk and Mill Grove, IN where her father was a farmer.

At the age of 17 on Oct. 12, 1905 she was married to Harry H. Philebaum in Blackford Co., IN. By 1910 they were residing in Richland, Jay Co., IN and had two children. Anna died a short time later in 1911 at the age of 23.

She was survived by husband, Harry and young children, Glenn and Florence Philebaum; parents, George and Emma Harris of Mill Grove, IN; sister, Inza; brothers, William, Guy and Ralph Harris all of Blackford Co., IN.
