Mrs. Brooksie Pendergrass McDaniel, 79 of Clarksburg, Tennessee passed away, Saturday, January 19, 2008 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Joint funeral services for her and her brother, James Adron Pendergrass, will be conducted on Monday, January 21, 2008 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Clarksburg Cemetery. Bro. Philip Halter, Bro. Andrew Stokes, and Bro. Marshall Gurley will officiate the service. Mrs. McDaniel was born January 23, 1928 to the late Jessie L. Pendergrass and Florence E. (Douglas) Pendergrass. She was a member of the Clarksburg Missionary Baptist Church, a homemaker, a loving mother and wife, and gardener. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Nita Lovell (husband Dwayne) and her brother, who passed away on the same day, James Adron Pendergrass. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Tom McDaniel, one son, Jerry McDaniel (wife Fay) of Clarksburg, one daughter, Donna McDaniel of Smyrna, two grandsons, Jeremy McDaniel and Stan Laws, a granddaughter, Sue Ann McDaniel, a step grandson, Brad Kinney, two sisters, Willie Mae Scott (husband James), Joyce Altom (husband Tommy) both of Clarksburg, and one brother, Cecil A. Pendergrass (wife Eunice) of Cedar Grove.
