Claude George Lang, 86, a retired carpenter for Phelps Dodge Corp, died June 18, 1981, at his home here.
He was born in Montgomery County, Texas, and came to Ajo in 1942. He served in the Army in World War I and in the Navy in World War II. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include children, Sibbie Husdon, Mary, Dave and John; a brother, two sisters, seven grandchildlren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Ajo Heights Baptist Church, Douglas Funeral Homee made arrangements.
