MY AUNT: RETA - NEVER MARRIED -

Was born near Barrie, Vespra Township, Simcoe County, Ontario, and came west in 1906 at the age of 6 years old, resided in Lumsden and Brownlee, Saskatchewan before moving to Moose Jaw with her parents.

She had a weak heart due to scarlet fever as a child.

Reta lived with her parents at - 1167 - 1st. Ave. N.E., Moose Jaw, until 1938. Then moved to:

834 Alder for one year, in 1940 moved to 241 Ominica Street, West until 1949. In 1950 moved to:

1062 Redland, then in 1954 moved to 328 Hochelage West.

Reta started out as a school teacher in 1920. In 1950 became an employee with the Child for Christ Crusade. Became a supervisor for Canadian Sunday School mission from 1956 to 1962.

DEATH: Heart Condition - Died Monday, 23 November 1964, at the Moose Jaw Hospital, at age 64 years old - Funeral Service was held Wednesday, November 25th, at W.J. Jones and Son Funeral Chapel. Rev. W.E. Steight of the West End Gospel Church (Associated with Gospel Churches of Canada) officated. Attending in a group were members of the West End Senior Group - Missionary Society. Pallbearers: C.V. Rusk, Al Feltham, Murray Robinson, Norman McDougall, Frank Hetherington and Frank Johnston.
