Csikos, Carol Lucky (nee Wadsworth) Age 72, passed away Wednesday October 12, 2011 at her residence with her loving family by her side. Survived by her loving husband John Csikos; daughters Peggy (John) Lucky-Rose, Deborah (Kevin) Null and Christine (Robert) Sobkoviak; grandchildren Aaron, Maggie and Jake Null, Caroline, Jonathon, Griffin, Isabelle and Genevieve Dutka and Alec and John Sobkoviak; one sister Helen (Lloyd) Haney. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her first husband Wayne C. Lucky; parents Glenn and Mildred Wadsworth and one grandchild in infancy; brothers Glenn (Dorothy), and Norman (Marilyn), Gordon, Marl (Florence) Orrin (Marian) and Harry Wadsworth; sisters Jane (Jerry) Todd, June (George) Powers, Nina (Floyd) Garrett Jeanette (John) Gurka. Carol was a wonderful mother, devoted grandmother, and a special cherished aunt. She was known for cooking and baking, and generously sharing these talents with friends and family, and teaching granddaughters those skills. She enjoyed supporting each of her grandchildren, and their activities, and was extremely proud of their accomplishments. She and John enjoyed traveling, especially the extended trips exploring the West, along with fishing trips to Minnesota. She was a lifelong resident of Joliet, retiring to San Antonio the past 5 years, where she and John enjoyed the warmer climate and all the Hill Country had to offer. Funeral Services will be held, Monday October 17, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Messiah Lutheran Church with lying in state from 9:00 until time of service. Interment Woodlawn II Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 3-7 p.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. Memorials to LLS Leukemia-Lymphoma Society would be appreciated.
