Daughter of Agnes "Lilias" Robb and Thomas Findlay of Kilconquhar, Fife, Scotland.

Married John Forbes Sr. 17 June 1825 at Cameron, Fife, Scotland.

Mother of James Forbes 1826-1905, John Forbes Jr. 1827-1879 and Joseph Thomas Forbes 1830-1890.

After her death, her husband immigrated to America with his sons, James and John. Joseph Thomas Forbes remained in Scotland with his wife, Margaret Balfour.

John Forbes Sr. lived an additional nine years, but did not remarry.
