Margaret Helen (Troop) DeMoss, 79, of Earlington passed away at 2:40 PM on Saturday March 10, 2012 at Brighton Cornerstone Nursing Home.
She was born in Earlington to the late John and Eula (Burns) Troop on December 2, 1932.
She was City Clerk of Earlington for 25 years, a member of Suthards Baptist Church and a Kentucky Colonel.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Rev. A. O. DeMoss Jr. and brother-in-law Charles "Buddy" Cloern.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Katrinka DeMoss Gibson and husband Harold of Paducah, Kentucky

Services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday March 14 at First Baptist Church in Earlington.
Rev. Dennis Mayfield will officiate.
Visitation will be Tuesday 4-8 PM at Reid-Walters Funeral Home and Wednesday from 11:00 AM until service time at the church.
Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Earlington.
Pallbearers will be Mark DeMoss, Harold Gibson, Joey Skaggs, Jason Alexander, Rob Carlton and Bryan Scisney.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Shriner's Hospital.
