Mary Cloern, 83 of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Wednesday July 16, 2014 in Jefferson Place, Louisville, KY. She was born November 23, 1930 to John E.Troop and Eula Burns Troop. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Earlington, KY.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles "Buddy" Cloern in 2007, daughter Candice Cloern, and a sister Margaret DeMoss.
She is survived by three sons: John "Skip" (Nancy) Cloern of Louisville, KY.; Alan (Mary) Cloern of Columbus, OH; Roger (Margaret) Cloern of Columbus, OH;. two sisters Gayle Haviland of Owensboro, KY and Sharon Gray of Owensboro, KY; one brother Johnny Troop of Madisonville, KY; six grandchildren: Ryan Cloern, Adam Cloern, Eric Cloern, Ashley Cloern, Gretchen Cloern and Elaine Cloern; four great-grandchildren: Greyson Cloern, Brynn Cloern, Mia Kayleen Ganvini, Makayla Haylee Ganvini, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 19th at 12:00 noon at Reid-Walters Funeral Home at 202 E Farren Ave. Earlington, KY. with Rev. Kim Hudson officiating, grandchildren will be pallbearers. Entombment in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Madisonville, KY. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time on Saturday.
