Mark Webster Jordan & Belva Beatrice (Golden) Jordan were married on November 8, 1904 in Fillmore/Ego, Indian Territory of Oklahoma.

Funeral Services Held Tuesday For Mark W. Jordan.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Whitehurst
Funeral Chapel for Mark Webster Jordan, 75, who was found dead on the river
bank about 2 miles from Dos Palos Y Friday afternoon of last week. Rev.
W. B. Johnson of the Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church officiated and burial
was in the Dos Palos Cemetery.

An autopsy disclosed the cause of death was a coronary occlusion. He had
been visiting his daughter, Mrs. Emma Lee Myers of Dos Palos and was returning
home in the Dos Palos Y area.

He was a native of Oklahoma and had lived in the Dos Palos area for the
past 20 years. He was a retired farm worker. He was one of the first to
help organize and establish the Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church in Dos
Palos. His son, Rev. Chester Jordan was the first minister of the church.

Besides Mrs. Meyers, he is survived by two other daughters, Mrs. Goloa Ingram of Ashland, Oregon and Mrs. Lucille Withey of Santa Barbara; three sons, Rev. Chester Jordan of Oklahoma City, Elmer Jordan of Palmdale and Eldon Jordan of Merced. Three brothers, Nick Jordan of Oregon, and Jim and Sherman Jordan, both living in Texas. Nineteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren
survive.
