Carrie L. Brechbill, age 95, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at Laurel Lakes Nursing and Rehab Center. Born December 10, 1927, in Chambersburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Solomon and Anna Mary Baker Brechbill.

Ms. Brechbill worked at the former Stanley Company for a number of years, retiring in 1989. She was a member of Mission Hill Church, the former Chambersburg Brethren in Christ Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher and Bible School Teacher. She enjoyed playing the piano in several gospel quartets, gardening, and cats.

Surviving are two nieces, Linda Brechbill Secrist of Chambersburg, PA and Wanita Burkett (Dr. Charles) of Chambersburg, PA and a nephew, Dale Brechbill of Carlisle, PA; a great-niece, April Secrist Stevens and great-nephew, Charles H. Secrist. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, A. Roy Brechbill, Harry A. Brechbill, and in infancy, Gail Brechbill.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023, at 2 PM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA, where Rev. Kevin Witter and Rev. Dr. Charles Burkett will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Air Hill Cemetery.
