Born Harriet Hedges, she was the Presbyterian wife of merchant and farmer, Bradbury Cilley, but the nearby Venice Presbyterian Church records, Butler Co., OH where they attended are mostly non-existent (due to a fire if I am recalling my old research attempting to find baptismal records correctly); that Presbyterian Church also used to have its own small cemetery adjacent (across one road) to that church, from which a grave removal for _____ arose (if I am recalling correctly, it was Bradbury). Bradbury was the boy next door, with his Cilley family owning the land adjacent to the Hedges farm; but he grew up to be a busy merchant (and farmer) making trips (via horseback and Ohio/Mississippi rivers) to New Orleans before he got around to proposing by 1834 to Harriet Hedges, his neighbor, about twelve years his junior, who had lost both of her parents by then (with lots of acreage, say 200+?, in need of ownership/attention.) He was then about 36, and she about 24. They married 15 Feb 1834. Harriet would have died in either Colerain Twp, Hamilton Co or Venice, Ross Twp, Butler Co Ohio but offhand I do not recall (it would be of record in Mass/Ohio via my app submitted to Mayflower Descendants Society.)
