Mary McClure, 89, Michigan Valley resident for 62 years, died Friday in Ottawa, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Kelsey. She has been in ill health for the past four years and had been seriously ill for seven weeks. She was born -n Greenville, Tenn., Nov. 24, 1871, the daughtero f Barnett and Nancy (Crawford) Baxter. She came to Kansas in 1876 in a covered wagon. She was married to George Claude McClure Nov. 28, 1894, who died March 28, 1952. She was a member of the church of the Later Day Saints. Surviving are two sons, Ernest . McClure, Newark, Del.; George 3. McClure, Quenemo; one daughter, Mrs. John Kelsey, 515 Birch; three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Clark, Mrs. Gallic Dallas, Long Beach, Calif., and Melissa Bainer, Temple City, Calif; one brother, fohn Baxter, Lane; five grand-children and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the Baker Funeral Home. Burial will be in Valley Brook Cemetery.
