Dad had given many talents that he shared with so many. He could strike up a conversation with anyone and put a person at ease. His service to others, especially to the elderly in which he served for over 20 years as a leader in the retirement industry, was legendary. He was a good friendly neighbor.
He was a great teacher. His enthusiasm was contagious. He appreciated the friendship of others and had stories that kept those around him amused for hours. He was very competitive in all that he did especially in his love of golf and sharing time with others on the golf course was a favorite pastime.
