Geraldine Adams White Evans is the daughter of the late Walter James Adams and Mary Jane Whittle Adams. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She lived in the community most of her life and when her husband, Pee Wee White, became disabled she took over operations of the family farm. Mrs. Evans was a former employee of H.R. Kaminsky and Sons and was an assistant manager for The Addition Clothing store. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Osceola Chapter #431 and also a member of Arp Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband: Kirk Evans of Irwin County; daughter and son-in-law: Elaine & George McCraney of Irwin County; son and daughter-in-law: Derrell & Sherry White of Heard County; daughters-in-law: Patricia White of Troup Co. and Ann White Lewis of Irwin Co.; brother: Nathaniel & Rachel Adams of Wilcox, Co.; sister: Annette & Melvin Mashburn of Turner Co.; 10 grandchildren; 39 great-grand-children; 5 great great grandchildren

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband: Henry Wallace "Pee Wee" White; sons: W. L. White & Randolph "Randy" White; grandchildren, DaLinda Ann White, Steve White & Demarris Lott; sisters. Ernestine "Teen" Bowen & Rea McDuffie; brothers, Rev. W. Hewlette Adams, Cecil Adams and Harmon Adams.
