Mr. Adams was born in Wilcox County, Georgia and had lived a long number of years in Rebecca. He was the son of the late Walter James & Mary Jane Whittle Adams. He was a farmer and mechanic and a member of the Double Run Baptist Church in Wilcox County, Georgia.
Mr. Adams is survived by his wife, Diann Narron Adams of Rebecca; seven sons, Dawayne Smith of Fitzgerald, Harmon Lee Adams, of Rebecca, Harmon Clarence Adams, Jr., Indiana, Greg Adams, Rebecca, David Adams, Moultrie, Billy Adams, Cordele, and W.C. Adams, Orlando, Fl. Also surviving are four daughters, Patricia Diane Douglas, Rebecca, Judy Adams, Dalton, Lynn Johnson, Dade City, Fl., and Kathy Stubbs, Rebecca. Mr. Adams is also survived by one brother, Than Adams, Rochelle, and two sisters, Annette Mashburn, Rochelle, and Geraldine Evans, Fitzgerald, and several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel
