Tom's citations and awards were; Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster, Bronze Arrowhead, Victory Ribbon, American Theatre Ribbon, American Defense Ribbon, Bronze Star Medal, Asiatic Pacific Theatre Ribbon with 4 Bronze Stars, & the Philippine Liberation Ribbon.
After the war, Tom worked in the Gaming Industry in Nevada as a coupier (dealer).
Tom's 1st wife, Ruth, was the mother of his 3 children. His 2nd wife was Lena Rediker. Lee's cremains were given to her eldest daughter.
Tom died of heart failure. Tom's grandson was Matthew Thomas Novack. His memorial is also in Nevada.
