Funeral services for Margie Plunkett will be held Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden. Officiating will be Rev. Leland Crawford and Rev. Bill Crider. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home.
Margie was born April 13, 1937 in Shreveport and entered into rest October 15, 2012 in Minden.
Her parents Mattie and Glen Holcomb, brother Glen Holcomb, Jr., sisters Irene Richey and Helen Edmondson and granddaughter Holly Renee Barnes preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, James Marvin Plunkett, daughters: Diane Barnes and husband Rickey, Kathy Rogers and husband Richard, Judy Moorehead and husband Bob, grandchildren: James Steven Barnes, Bradley Barnes, Leah Lowe, Emily Rogers, Madison Moorehead, and Matthew Moorehead, great-grandchildren: Tyler Barnes, Taylor Barnes, Harley Lowe, Leila Lowe and Miken Barnes, and sisters: Edith Simpson and Sue Hunter.
Pallbearers will be: Rickey Barnes, Richard Rogers, Bob Moorehead, James Steven Barnes, Matthew Moorehead, and Clint Smith.
