Graveside services for Irene Holcomb Richey will be held today, Nov. 18, 2008, at 2 p.m., at Brushwood Cemetery. Mrs. Richey passed away Monday Nov. 17, 2008, after a long and courageous battle with COPD. She was born Dec. 30, 1931, in Dubberly where she spent most of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leon; parents, Glen and Mattie Holcomb; brother and sister-in-law, Glen Jr. and Ida Holcomb; and sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Ronald Edmonson. She is survived by sisters, Edith and Joe Simpson, Margie and Marvin Plunkett and Sue and Bobby Hunter all of Minden; six nieces; two nephews; and many other family members and friends.
