Clarice Ellen Nobles Dunlap, 76, of 111 E. Valcourt Road, Liberty Township, Mercer County, died at 4:10 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, 1992, at the Autumn Grove Nursing Home, Harrisville, following an eight-year illness.
She was born in Clarendon, April 7, 1916, a daughter of Clarence W. and Mary G. Eakin Nobles. She was a former custodian at the Grove City Area District's Highland Primary Center; a member and former deacon of North Liberty Presbyterian Church; also a member of its Women's Association and quilter's group.
She is survived by her husband, Norman C. Dunlap, whom she married Jan. 20, 1934; one daughter, Merry Jane Williamson of Export; and four sisters, Mrs. Merle (Kathryn) Magee of Grove City, Frances Osborne, Helen Haehn and Ardath Savitz, all of Pittsfield; one brother, Lee Nobles of Pittsfield, and three grandchildren.
Besides her parents a daughter, Cecile I. Dunlap, died previously. Interment was in Harrisville Cemetery.
