Merry Jane Williamson, 82, of Grove City, formerly of Export, passed in Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot, on Tuesday, July 10, 2018.

Merry Jane was born in Clintonville on Dec. 22, 1935, to Norman C. and Clarice E. (Nobles) Dunlap. She married J. Clarence Williamson on Oct. 5, 1956. He preceded her in death on March 8, 1985.

Merry Jane graduated from Grove City High School in 1953. She worked at G. C. Murphy's as a clerk, Bell Telephone as an operator, and she was a full-time devoted wife and mother.

Merry Jane was a member of North Liberty Presbyterian Church for many years, where she served as secretary/treasurer for the Sunday school.

She was a member of the choir, the Presbyterian Women's Association, the Quilters and the Learners Fellowship Sunday School Class. She was a volunteer at Franklin Regional Bookmobile and Murrysville Community Library for more than 20 years.

Merry Jane was an avid reader. She enjoyed watching her hummingbirds, gardening, traveling, sewing, quilting and cheering for the Steelers.

In addition to her parents and husband, a sister, Cecil Dunlap at 6 years of age, preceded her in death.
