Mr. Lawson, widower of Barbara P. Lawson, died Wednesday, September 3, 2003. Born in Richland County, he was the son of the late Ruby and Willie Lawson. He attended First Baptist Church of West Columbia at the time of his death.
Mr. Lawson is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Leon Stoudenmire; his son, David "Ric" Lawson; grandsons, Kyle Lawson and Zack Lawson; sisters, Dolia "Midge" McCullough, Dean Freeman, Alma Leach, and Rhetha Bates; brothers, Al Lawson, J.W. Lawson and Dewey Lawson; loving nieces, nephews and friends.
