Mrs. Adelaide Amelia Easton Bair, wife of Samuel Bair, died Tuesday, March 28, 1939, at her home in Winfield following a few days illness from pneumonia. She was a daughter of the late Johnsie and Susanne Easton and was aged 71 years, 6 months and 4 days. She spent her entire life in Winfield and was a lifelong member of Ebenezer M E Church, near Winfield.
Besides her husband, she is leaves a sister, Mrs. Grant Miller, Unionville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday with all services at the late residence at 2 PM and burial in Ebenezer Church Cemetery. Her pastor, the Rev. R L Mowbray, officiated. The following nephews served as pallbearers: Arthur, Charles and Luther Bair, Roscoe Price, H. Edgar Royer, and Bernard Nusbaum.
