A lifelong resident of the Winfield vicinity, died suddenly at his home Friday, October 3, 1952. Death was due to a coronary occlusion. He was born May 18, 1863 in Carroll county, a son of the late Jesse and Mary Ann Bair and was aged 89 years. His wife, the late Adelaide M Bair predeceased him by 13 years.

Mr. Bair was the last of his immediate family and is survived only by nieces and nephews. He was a carpenter employed at Springfield State Hospital for 40 years, having retired several years ago.

Funeral services were held at the late residence in Winfield Tuesday, at 2 PM, Rev. Ray Mowbray officiating. Interment in Ebenezer Cemetery.
