Eugene R. Age 62, of Elmira, NY, died on Wednesday, April 13, 2005. He was born on February 28, 1943 in Wellsboro, PA, a son of the late Roy J. and Elma (Boyden) Bartholomew. Eugene was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving with the U.S. Air Force, and had worked as a jet mechanic. Mr. Bartholomew is survived by four brothers and sisters-in-law, Dean and Joanne Bartholomew of Addison, NY, Jay and Patricia Bartholomew of Millerton, PA, Richard and Sharrie Bartholomew of Madison, VA, Joseph and Ellen Bartholomew of Mansfield, PA; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Doris and Kenneth Butler of Lindale, TX, Anna and Tony Galloro of Elkland, PA, Mary Ellen and Gene Butler of Tioga, PA; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may call on Saturday, April 16, 2005, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Wilston Funeral Home, 18 N. Main Street, Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. L.D. Maxson officiating. Interment will be in Prospect Cemetery, Mansfield, PA.
