David Ray Boggs, 64, a resident of the Teter Creek Lake community, departed this life Friday, June 30, 2006, in Ruby Memorial Hospital following a short illness.
He was born Jan. 19, 1942, at Elkins, a son of the late Jacob S. and Melinda Davis Boggs, formerly of the Poe Run community. Surviving are his wife, Doris J. (Woolwine) Boggs and children, Lisa Y. Boggs, Sean D. Boggs and wife, Rhonda, and grandson, Chad J. Boggs, whom he adored, all of Elyria, Ohio. Also surviving are two brothers, Herbert of Cleveland, Ohio, and Clyde and wife, Shirley, of Crimora, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Roscoe and Lenard; and a sister, Linda (Boggs) Chenoweth.
