Mrs. Elizabeth A. Lowell was born Sept. 14th, 1860, in Washington Co. Ind., and died at her mothers, Mrs. Barrett Sept. 4th, 1891.
She joined the M.E.Church when she was but 11 years of age, and has lived a consistent christian life. In her last hours she manifested her faith in the church, and died with a glorious hope of immortality. She bore patiently her affliction and entertained hopes that she might recover until within a few weeks of her death.
Her disease was consumption, under which she has been failing for several months. She leaves a husband and three children to mourn her loss. She cannot return to them but they can go to her. They have our sympathy and prayers, and may this their sad affliction work out for them a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.
