Age 78, passed away at a Green Bay hospital Monday evening following a brief illness. He was born April 3, 1890 in the Township of Center, and had been a Seymour resident for the past 16 years, prior to that he farmed in the Townships of Seymour and Center. In 1918 he was united in marriage to Martha Court in the Township of Ellington. He was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Brotherhood, Seymour. Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Miss Erna Ashmann, Appleton; three sons, Elmer, Albert, Paul Jr., all of Rt. 3, Seymour; 9 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Olga Fischer, Clintonville. One son, Walter, preceded him in death in 1945. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday from the Emmanuel Lutheran Church and the Rev. Philip Paulsen officiating. Burial in the Lutheran cemetery, Seymour. Friends may call at Muehl Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Wednesday and until 10:30 a.m. Thursday and then at the church until the hour of service.
