"William A. Ashman. 218 W. Atlantic St. Age 78, passed away at 10:15 a.m. Sunday after a short illness. He was born February 5, 1888 in the Town of Center, where he lived on a farm and was employed at the Fox Canning Company, Hortonville for 30 years and for the past 15 years had been a resident of Appleton. Mr. Ashman is survived by his wife, Emma; one daughter, Mrs Edward (Romelda) Wirth, Appleton; three sons, Earlin and Eldo, both of Rt. 2, Appleton; Ray, Appleton; one brother, Paul, Seymour; one sister, Mrs. Olga Fischer, Clintonville; 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. W.H. Gammelin officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Tuesday until 9:30 a.m. Wednesday and after 10 a.m. at the church until the hour of the service."
