Mrs. Abat, 93, of New Orleans died Friday in Jo Ellen Smith Medical Center, New Orleans.
She was a native of Hallsville, Texas, and was a member of Gretna United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Roy Abat of Lakeland, Fla.; two daughters, Marye Puglisi of Metairie and Bettye Ann Abat of New Orleans; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. today until time of services today.
