"Henry, age 87, died Sunday, 21 January 2001, at the Good Samaritan Care Center in Paynesville. He farmed in the Paynesville area all of his life. He was a member of the Saint Louis Knights of Columbus Council 3820 & a lifetime member of Saint Louis Catholic Church.
"Survivors include his brothers, John Ampe of Watkins and Charlie Ampe of Paynesville, and many nieces & nephews. Preceding Henry in death are his parents & brothers: Peter, Mathew, Celeste Jr., Joseph, & Cyril."
