Around 1836 Charlotte's family moved to La Porte Co., Ind. Here she met & married Logan Taylor. They were married on 1 June 1854 by J.M. Whitehead, Minister of the Gospel.
Charlotte & Logan had 5 children; Amelia (Ann) E., Emily, Nettie J., Carrie & May. The family resided in a brick house on a farm, which in 1880, consisted of 115 acres.
Charlotte Taylor died on 26 Sept. 1896 at the age of 66.
