Kenneth Ray “Spanky” Phillips, 55, of Browns Lane in Louisville, formerly of Stanford, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville. Born Saturday, January 5, 1957 in Danville, he was the son of the late Kenneth Lee and Mary Louise Bastin Phillips.
Spanky leaves behind four brothers, Larry Phillips (Kathy) of Douglasville, Georgia, Robbie Phillips (Kim) of Stanford, Michael Phillips (Tracy) of Campbellsville, and Jerome Phillips (Tammie) of Stanford; and two sisters Marilyn Brown (Anthony) of Lancaster, and Loretta Loretta Wright (Doug) of Stanford.
Funeral services will be held 2:00PM Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Fox Funeral Home with Bro. Stewart Dawson officiating the service. Burial will follow in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 6-8PM Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the funeral home. Fox Funeral Home in Stanford is in charge of arrangements.
