Hattie Erdman

Hattie R. Erdman, 98, of Fort Atkinson died Monday, May 9, 1994, at Wellington Place in Fort Atkinson.
Born Aug. 12, 1895, in Fort Atkinson, the daughter of George and Marie (Wagner) Raithel, she married Louis C Erdman on Sept. 9, 1916 in Helenville. He died on May 18, 1967.
She was a 1913 graduate of Fort Atkinson High school and attended Beloit College for three years.
Mrs. Erdman and her husband had farmed in the rural Jefferson area.
She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson and its Ladies Aid and the Oakland Ladies Aid and was active in 4-H.
Surviving are three sons, three daughters; 24 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; as well as two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Richard; two grandsons, Tom Bostwick and Michael Wong; one daughter-in-law, Leona Erdman; a son-in-law, Gim Wong, and one sister, Ruth Klettke.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, with Rev. Paul Scharrer officiating. Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 11, at Nitardy Funeral Home in Fort Atkinson and at the church on Thursday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services.
Memorials can be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or Beloit College.
