Former Johnson County resident Jessie Hitchcock Jr., 67, died Monday, July 10, 2000, at his Park Ridge, Illinois, residence. Mr. Hitchcock was born July 23, 1932, to the late Jessie and Elsie Colvin Hitchcock of Denver. He retired in January 1996 from a rubber company in Chicago after 30 years of service. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Billie Hunley Hitchcock, formerly of Collista, on January 21, 1980; two brothers; and one sister. Surviving are two daughters, Bonnie Hapanovitch of Park Ridge and Pat Hitchcock of Des Plaines, Illinois; two sisters, Pauline Castle of Paintsville and Lova Ann Borton of Pierceton, Indiana; and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday, July 13, at Nelson Funeral Home of Park Ridge. Burial followed in Acacia Park Cemetery Mausoleum in Chicago.
