Helen (Kastner) Johnson, 77, died late Dec. 30 in Phoenix, Ariz, from complications of a fall. She had been fighting Alzheimer's disease for some time. She is survived by her three children: Mark Johnson of Thousand Oaks, Calif., Jan Johnson of Yardley, Pa., and Sara Foy of Avonddale, Ariz; four grandchildren; and her sister, Lelia Matzat of North Judson, Ind. A memorial service will be held Jan. 24 at 11 a.m. in West Lafayette, Ind. at Redeemer Lutheran Church at the corner of Lindbergh and Salisbury streets.
