She died peacefully in the care of her daughter and son-in-law. She was a division manager for Sears Stores in Abington and the Montgomery Mall for over 20 years. She was a daughter of Joseph and Tillie (Yankauskas) Masaitis-Yodzewicg. She was of the Catholic faith, a graduate of Tamaqua High School. and an avid skier.
Surviving were a daughter Jessica, wife of John Calcagno of Jamison; three grandchildren, Dr. Christopher J. Calcagno, and his wife, Amy, Dr. Scott W. Calcagno, and his wife, Katarina, and Jeffrey V. Calcagno, JD; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was also predeceased by two sisters, Matilda (Masaitis) Backus and Josephine (Masaitis) Sorrick-Messi-mer; and three brothers, Stiney Masaitis, Joseph L. Marks and Edward Yodis.
