Milan Andrew Christensen, loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, died July 6, 1999 at West Jordan, Utah at the age of 85.

Milan was born on August 21, 1913 in West Jordan, Utah. He is the son of Lars Marinus and Rienetta Maria Bateman Christensen. He married Marjorie Jacklin on May 28, 1938. He attended school in West Jordan and graduated from Jordan High School. He worked as a miner at the Lark Mine for 32 years.

He was a member of the LDS Church in which he held various positions and was active until his health wouldn't let him attend.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie of West Jordan; his son, Delbert (Joan) Christensen of West Jordan; his daughters, Marilyn (Frank) Lacox of West Jordan and Carol (Neil) Graham of New Jersey; seven grandchildren, six step-grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and nine step-great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul; and three sisters, Melva, Marie and LaRene.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 10, 1999 at 11 a.m. at the West Jordan 44th Ward Chapel at 7600 South 1899 West, West Jordan. The viewing will be from 6-7 p.m. Friday at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road and on Saturday one hour prior to services at the church. Interment Redwood Memorial Estates.
