Velma "Rosalie" Ploeger, 93, of Hiawatha passed away November 4, 2013 at Heartland Medical Center in St. Joseph, MO. Rosalie was born August 22, 1920 in Hiawatha, KS the only child of Hilding W. and Blanche F. Tabler Anderson. She was raised in the Hiawatha, KS and graduated from Hiawatha High School with the Class of 1938. She married Warren Edward Ploeger December 16, 1938. They eloped and were married in Marysville, KS. Rosalie is survived by sons, Vincent D. (Jane) Ploeger of Hiawatha, KS, Warren L. (Vicki) Ploeger, Roger (Liz) Ploeger both of Morrill, KS, a daughter Rosalie Faye (Mark) Steele of Morrill, KS, a daughter in law Vera Ploeger of Falls City, NE, 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 2 step great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren, a son Layne Arlen Ploeger, and a granddaughter Tara Ploeger.
