John James Burke was the son of Michael F. Burke and Margaret A. (Irwin) Burke. His death cert stated that his burial was at Calvary Cemetery on 30 Jul 1900. A letter received by the author from Calvary Cemetery dated 8 Jan 2010 confirmed the fact that a John J. Burke, 2 years old, was buried in the same plot as his sister, Marguerite Burke, age 7 years. However, the interment list received by the author from Calvary Cemetery dated 25 Feb 2010 did not list a John J. Burke in the same plot as Margaret[sp] Burke.
