She was born May 20, 1909 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Clarence and Bertha Garrett Galland.
She was employed by ZCMI for 33 years.
She was very active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving as a Sunday School teacher, Relief Society visiting teacher and served as a Stake Missionary along with many other callings. She married E. M. Andersen on August 4, 1973 in the Salt Lake Temple. He passed away in 1980.
Survived by a daughter, Elaine Longshaw; a son, Robert G. (Marilin) Brown; 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 19 great-great-grandchildren and nine stepchildren and many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 13, 2001 at 2 p.m. in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary Chapel 10600 S. 1700 E. Sandy, Utah where friends and family may call one hour prior to services. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
