Mrs. Lewis, a homemaker, was also a nurse's aide in health care centers. Born in Maryville on Jan. 28, 1944, she lived in Johnson, Neb., from 1962 until moving to Auburn, Neb., in 1984 and then to Maryville in 1994. Mrs. Lewis was a graduate of the Maryville high school. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Maryville, and the Johnson Extension Club, Johnson.
On April 8, 1962, she married Garland R. Lewis in Maryville. He survives of the home. Additional survivors include two daughters, Kealye M. Pournazari of Maryville and RaLonda J. Byre of Lincoln, Neb.; two sons, Tim and Lance, both of Maryville; her mother, Ruby Ballenger of Maryville; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward D. Ballenger.
