Son of Henry and Harriet Edwards Baldwin, he married Jennie S. Taylor in Cortland on June 10, 1891. He managed a store in Cortland for a time before moving to Syracuse. He there worked as a bookkeeper and real estate broker until he moved to Fair Haven in 1928.
Survived by his wife, Jennie Taylor Baldwin; two daughters, Mrs. Herbert Meyers and Mrs. Clifford Daggett, both of Syracuse; one son Lawrence of Fair Haven; one sister, Mrs. Flavilla Fairbanks of Auburn, and three brothers. Charles of South Cortland, George of Lincklaen and Ralph of Cuyler.
