The funeral of OB Anderson, father of Any and Goodman Anderson of this place, was held at Graettinger last Tuesday. Mr Anderson, who was 79 years, seven months and twelve days old at the time of his death, had been in poor health for several months and passed away at his home in Graettinger last Saturday morning. Mr Anderson came to Palo Alto County in 1887, living on a farm until 1920 when he moved with his family to Graettinger where he resided until his death. Mrs Anderson passed away in 1920. Five sons and two daughters remain to mourn his loss. They are Andy and Goodman of Ayrshire; Oscar of Estherville; Louis of Polson MT; Mrs Duus of Graettinger; Mrs Mabel Spies of Ruthven, and Larney who is at home. One son, Will died in 1934. The Chronicle joins with the many friends of the family in extending sympathy.
