Tom Shramek Died at Omaha
Tom Shramek, 32, died in Omaha Sunday, June 1. Funeral services were held at St. Mary’s Catholic church, David City, at 10:00 this (Thursday) morning, conducted by Rev. Wm. Murphy. Pallbearers were Marion Bock, Perry Platz, Francis Danaher, Don Kepner, Paul Jacobs and Louis Chermok. Burial was in St. Mary’s cemetery.
In attendance at the funeral from elsewhere: Mrs. F. C. Charvat, Long Beach, Calif.; the John Shrameks, Crete; Emerson Kasparek, Schuyler; Jim Kasparek, Central City.
Thomas Robert Shramek, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Shramek, was born at David City Jan. 25, 1915. His mother died ten years ago. Surviving are his father; three sisters, Mrs. Fred Ficke of David City, Mrs. F. C. Charvat of Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. A. J. Adams of Maxwell Field, Ala.; and one brother, J. J. Shramek of Lincoln.
