Mrs. Ada Moomaw Died January 15
Mrs. Ada Moomaw died at the Nicholas Senn hospital in Omaha Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 15, following a long illness of cancer of the stomach.
Funeral services were held at Sidney Saturday afternoon, Jan. 18, conducted by Rev. Speagh, pastor of the Presbyterian church. Burial was made by the side of her husband in the Sidney cemetery.
Ada Boyd was born at Modale, Iowa, Oct. 16, 1902 and died in Omaha, Jan. 15, 1930.
She was married to Herman A. Moomaw April 19, 1923. Mr. Moomaw was killed Jan. 6, 1929 in an explosion in Illinois where he was working as a civil engineer.
One child, Robert, survives her. He has been adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Moomaw of Malvern. Mr. Moomaw is a brother of the child's father.
