Norma VaLene Taggart Hansen, 80, passed away November 17, 2004 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She was born May 20, 1924 in Salt Lake City, Utah the daughter of Bruce and Norma Josephine Christensen Taggart. She married Ray Thorpe; later divorced. Married Kent T. Hansen in 1980. VaLene worked as an administrative assistant for the Medical Illustration Dept. at the U of U Medical School. She enjoyed horses, traveling, and being with people.

She is survived by two sisters, Ethel T. Christensen, Jeanette T. Holmes; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Charles Bruce Taggart; and sister, Joanne T. Bach.

Graveside prayer will be 11 a.m. Tuesday November 23rd at the Bountiful City Cemetery. Cremation under the direction of Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary. Email condolences to [email protected]
