Mrs. Clara Rebecca Rosenberger, 61, of 237 W. Second St., died at 7 p.m. Saturday en route to the Waynesboro Hospital. She had been in failing health for the past two years and death was attributed to a heart attack.

Mrs. Rosenberger was born January 20, 1907, in Washington County, Maryland, daughter of the late Samuel and Mary (Dunlop) Brechbiel. for 15 years, she lived at Chambersburg R. D. 5 but the greater part of her life was lived in the vicinity of Waynesboro.

During World War II, she had been employed by the Victor Plant (now part of Landis Machine Co.). For 3 1/2 years, she was employed by Landis Machine Co. in the chaser department until ill health forced her retirement two years ago.

She was a member of the First Brethren Church, the Friendship Sunday School Class and a teacher in the beginners' class for a number of years.

Surviving are her husband, Harry J. Rosenberger, four children, William J. Rosenberger, St. Thomas; Thomas I. Rosenberger, Camp Hill; Herbert L. Rosenberger, Chambersburg R. D. 5, and Mrs. Roy Myers, Hanover R. D. 5.

Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and four brothers and sisters, Harvey Brechbiel and Mrs. Beulah Cordell, both of Waynesboro; William Brechbiel, Carlos, Minn., and Mrs. Nellie Obitts, Hagerstown.
