Abraham Loy, an old and highly respected citizen of Big Spring township, died at his residence near this place, on Wednesday, the 24th of February; aged sixty eight years. –

His funeral discourse was preached by Rev. T. M. Biggs, in the M. E. Church, to a very large congregation. Mr. Loy was born in Virginia, and came to Ohio when quite young. He has lived in this county for thirty-five years, and has been an active member of the church for twenty-two years.
